  • Our optometrist will determine your optimal contact lens based on your lifestyle needs, as well as your ocular health and eye shape.

  • At Eye Lab Optometry, we diagnose and manage ocular disease such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy and Cataracts.

  • We have a range of evidence-based strategies, including orthokeratology, soft contact lenses, atropine therapy, and specialised spectacle lenses.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our general eye test can be bulk-billed through Medicare if you haven’t had an eye test within 1-2 years of the date you book with us.

    We also have additional more in depth testing with our latest technology equipment that can detect the earliest signs of disease. However, they are not covered by Medicare.

  • For your initial and annual eye appointments, please allow up to 1 hour. Our follow up appointments are approximately 30-45 minutes.

  • We accept majority health funds including: Medibank, Bupa, HCF, NIB, AHM and others.

  • Please bring your medicare and health insurance card, and all current glasses, sunglasses and/or contact lenses.

  • Every policy and health fund can vary in optical benefit.

    Please bring your health insurance card to your appointment and our friendly staff can provide a quote.

  • We are located at 114 Bankstown City Plaza, Bankstown NSW 2200. Only 60 metres from Bankstown Station, opposite and to the left of 7/11.

  • We recommend parking at Marion St Carpark which is a 3 minute walk to the store.
